Lake Forest Beach in the Summer!

There is nothing like walking the beach in the morning!

I shot a few photos one morning as the sun was rising for  you to see! Some days the water is calm – like a sheet of glass. Other days, the waves are pounding up on the rocks with great force! Either setting is magnificent! There is a long brick walk way that runs the entire length of the beach.

The beach offers a long meandering pathway that is handicapped accesable from the ledge at the top of the park all the way down to the beach. Once, there you will find a childs playground, volleyball court, sail boat launch area, and 4 shelter houses complete with grills, a fireplace and wood for a fire! The main shelter has a lifeguard station, and a selection of books to read from the library that people donate as they finish them while at the beach!
