More Highway Construction Set to Begin..

Spring is FINALLY here in Chicagoland, and so is the start of ten gazillion construction projects.  Not only is Interstate 294 (“the Tri-State”) from O’Hare to Wisconsin, completely torn up for road widening, but now I-94 (“the Edens”) is scheduled to start it’s resurfacing project today.

Lane closings are now in place from Lake Cook Rd in Northbrook, all the way down to Chicago’s Lawrence exit.  The resurfacing project is expected to last 5 months.  In addition, be cautious of electronic radar to issue tickets for work-zone speed violators.

So budget your travel time or avoid the Edens all together if you can!
