Sales Tax Holiday!

Effective August 6, 2010 through August 15, 2010 certain items purchased during this periodwill have a reduced sales tax rate of five percent. Example: if your sales taxes are currently at

8.75% – 5.00 = 3.75% is all you pay.

Qualifying Items:

 

Clothing: Retail selling price must be less than $100.00

Footwear: Retail selling price must be less than $100.00 

School supplies: Must be used by students in the course of study

Non-qualifying items:

 

Clothing: Any item with a retail selling price of $100.00 or more 

Sports or recreational equipment, Protective equipment, Art supplies 

School supplies: Any item not used by students in the course of study

Instructional material: Computer and computer supplies, Electronics
